Ciafone, Esq. distinguished himself as a strong advocate for child safety, increased crossing guards, security and police presence at the schools, and had the best attendance record for Board members in the entire City of New York. He helped lead the fight for school uniforms, and during his tenure, District 30 produced the largest number of new schools creating seats for early childhood, elementary, and middle school students.
